D.A.M.A. by Pianca

On Thursday, June 4 2026, the Pianca & Partners showroom in Milan will host two new D.A.M.A. – Design, Art, Music, Architecture events, the cultural format launched during Fuorisalone 2026 to explore the connections between different languages and disciplines. A day in which the showroom will open itself to dialogue between design, storytelling and research, once again becoming a place of encounter and sharing.

The first event, dedicated to Design, will focus on the presentation of the book Venezia prima di Venezia: l’Isola di San Servolo. Se vuoi puoi: bellezza e ragione si possono incontrare. Starting at 5:00 PM, Luciano Marson will recount San Servolo as a place suspended between memory and transformation: an island with ancient roots, shaped over the centuries by different identities and functions, today an international laboratory of ideas, art, sustainability and research. Within this narrative also lies the rebirth of Palazzina Scirocco Pianca, restored with sensitivity and determination.

At 6:00 PM, the second event will be dedicated to Art, with the opening of the temporary exhibition Arte Ancestrale: un viaggio alla scoperta di sé stessi, created in collaboration with Meglioranzi Art Collection by Artep and presented by Tiziano Meglioranzi. The exhibition brings together masks, sculptures and artefacts from cultures across Africa, Oceania, Alaska, Arizona, and Central and South America, in a journey through symbols, memories, rituals and ancestral presences. The works, the result of more than forty years of research and collecting, invite visitors to look beyond the surface and engage with an ancient language capable of speaking about identity, spirituality and the relationship with nature. The exhibition will remain open until July 31, 2026.
