One catalogue containing new product ideas presented by Pianca at the recent Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan. This issue of Progetti di design 08 again not only presents the products with descriptions, photos and technical details, it also explores the personalities of the designers behind the products. A proud supporter of bold design capable of striking an emotional connection, Pier Luigi Frighetto designed the Levante modular sofa for Pianca.

Cristina Celestino has always found inspiration in her fascination with the organic geometries of the plant world and revisited the Peonia collection, creating new module designs. The Peonia family has now evolved into a modular system to create a brand new look in the home landscape.

Harmony, elegance and balanced form and materials are the hallmark traits of Federica Biasi, whose inspiration partly derives from Japan. The Lina chair expresses those traits in a sophisticated mixture of tradition and contemporary style. With an intimate, affectionate approach to creativity, Raffaella Mangiarotti explored her humanized vision of objects in the new Palù occasional chair, giving it appealing character and harmonious lines, striking an efficient balance between utility and style.

The new Pianca fabric collection is now available for all upholstered products, including the new furniture designs. It offers a wide range of superior quality fabric options with different technical performance, style and feel. The new additions include a selection of stain-resistant fabrics, perfect for chair and sofa coverings.
