Domenica bed and Kyoto nightset the new bedroom complements
Curata dall’architetto Massimo De Conti, la mostra è aperta al pubblico con ingresso gratuito dal 18 maggio al 30 luglio e racconta il lavoro di Bonanni attraverso 10 illustrazioni

Domenica and Kyoto

Simone Bonanni designed the Domenica bed and Kyoto bedroom set for Pianca: personal experience that becomes form and creates furniture charged with emotion and beauty.

The new bedroom collection makes its debut at the ORME exhibition: a solo show of work by Simone Bonanni, open to the public from 18th May to 30th July in the Pianca & Partners showroom.

Simone Bonanni has created two sleekly designed, yet emotional complements. The Domenico bed invites you to relax in a solid embrace: one single continuous line draws a delicate, organic silhouette. The exposed zip, sometimes contrasting, sometimes camouflaged, is a key feature of the bed profile. The Kyoto bedroom set complements, combining surface textures and geometric shapes, enclose the drawers and top within a more pronounced, deeper outer frame, creating a discreet, elegant niche.

In all his work, Bonanni draws on the emotion that an object can transmit rather than simply the object itself. At the same time, he rediscovers the functional and expressive potential of hand made objects and art forms, enhancing the uniqueness of the design even when part of it is engineered.
