Pianca is immensely proud of this prize, awarded to the Contralto valet stand collection, which went into production just recently, the result of a solid collaboration with Michele Cazzaniga, Simone Mandelli and Antonio Pagliarulo of CMP Design Studio.
Designed with great sensitivity to modern forms of living, Contralto remains a line of accessories with a streamlined, essential look. Its appealing design combines functionality and elegance, capable of establishing a liberal, flexible relationship with the surrounding environment.
The Contralto valet stands are designed to create a discreet, almost fluctuating presence in the home to accompany and simplify daily actions. Both models share the same solid base in terrazzo marble, which supports the slim, slender, central metal body. Both the rod and mirror versions have a practical polished ash tray to store personal effects in. Every detail, from heights to materials and crafting methods, is designed and produced to guarantee practicality, pleasant feel and protected garments.
This is the second international prize that the company has won this year. It’s a result that was much hoped-for but never taken for granted, a result that plays like a tribute to continuous creativity, design and innovation, even in delicate phases like this And, last but not least, this result proves the success of the strategy of uniting Pianca expertise with major name talent in contemporary design.
