A prestigious international prize celebrates Pianca’s commitment to sustainable design: the Regina Green armchair wins the Green Good Design Award, one of the most important recognisitons dedicated to eco-responsible architecture and design. Designed by Pier Luigi Frighetto and offered in a limited edition, the chair is the result of a careful selection of materials, taking into careful consideration the product’s life cycle and environmental impact. A virtuous model of circular design, the Regina Green armchair interprets a new design paradigm, where each component is developed to be easily disassembled and replaceable, with a focus on durability, repairability, recycling, and reuse.

More specifically, the base is made of MDF with FSC-certified wood, and the padding is produced with innovative polyurethanes derived from renewable plant-based sources: a choice that ensures maximum comfort and high technical performance, with a reduced environmental impact. The cover in LamaSoft, a high-quality wool derived from llamas, is also 100% eco-sustainable and offers exceptional material quality and excellent technical characteristics. By means of this victory, Pianca confirms its ability to respond to contemporary environmental challenges with elegance and responsibility.
