The building chosen by Pianca in Baku, the splendid cosmopolitan capital that overlooks the gulf on the Caspian Sea, has been very recently constructed in a modern style. It consists of a 450 m2 surface area with large, luminous windows that overlook Babak Avenue, an important street in the city that is becoming a design district.
Finished with great care to detail, the showroom design emphasises the unique quality and style of Pianca’s products in a sophisticated and elegant ambience. An ample array of day and night furniture arrangements interact in an elegantly, flowing manner. The synergy between all the furniture of the Pianca collection – including wardrobes, coffee tables, armchairs, and more – is set off by the way the partitions are arranged and the spaces flow uninterruptedly. Each piece communicates with the whole setting and summarises harmony, beauty and comfort in its design.
The neutral shades chosen for the showroom set off the precious, warm and inviting range of colours – including a brighter, more extravagant accent here and there – selected for the furniture. The fabrics, surfaces and workmanship create intense, refined combinations that are both contemporary and tasteful, sometimes reminiscent of old cabinet-making tradition.
A blend of ancient roots and a strong stimulus towards innovation combine in Azerbaijan, making it a country projected towards the west with a style that stems from the depth of classicism but is paired with the simplicity and modernity of a more contemporary, European, and especially Italian, style. Pianca perfectly fits into this cultural context and aims at satisfying the requirements of such dynamic and interestingly multi-faceted customers.
