Archiproducts Design Award 2023

After enjoying great success at the last Salone del Mobile in Milan, the Dedalo sideboard won the highly-coveted ADA prize, an accolade that celebrates its value on an international level

Innovation, design and the emotional and functional energy of the product are the aspects that the ADA rewards every year, declaring examples of excellence in international design. Selected from the hundreds of products competing, the Dedalo sideboard won the hearts of the multidisciplinary jury of the Archiproducts Design Awards 2023.

Designed for Pianca by Luciano Marson, it espouses linearity and elegance, reprising the design of the Dedalo bedroom furniture collection. Its distinctive semi-cylindrical sides express geometric tension that artfully creates movement within the space. Completely smooth, continuous surfaces create a contemporary, glamorous effect. Form and function find perfect equilibrium, thanks to a meticulously detailed design. The rise of the vertical elements, for example, offers a practical grip on the hinged doors and at the same time creates a tray on the top section of the sideboard.

The inside compartment with no vertical dividers also boasts a refined, elegant style. With a rich selection of custom options such as fixed shelves or various types of modular elements (drawers, bar module), the interior can be further enhanced with bespoke lighting along the curved profile of the shelves.
Available in a tall or low version, the Dedalo sideboard offers a myriad of custom designs, thanks to the rich choice of texture and colour options for the main structure, top and interior finishes. The optional stand base can have a painted or metal finish.
