Salone del Mobile 2024

Pianca’s new products were warmly received by the public at Salone del Mobile, gaining recognition as superior quality, stylish solutions, always designed with product functionality and sustainability in mind

The recently concluded 62nd Salone del Mobile in Milan was a record event attended by more than 361,000 people from all over the world. Reaffirming its status as the most important international furniture fair, the Salone once again welcomed the participation of Pianca, a proud exponent of that “industrial craftsmanship” recognized by Claudio Feltrin, President of FederlegnoArredo, as one of the key attributes expressed only by Italian products.

Created by Cristina Celestino, the Pianca stand presented the new company products in a setting conceptually inspired by the Venetian Palazzo and its architectural features. Classic and contemporary styles were used to create an intelligent balance of elements. The elegant, evocative stand design cleverly combined past and present, indoor and outdoor, developing around a large central square.

Amid arches, moiré silk effect walls and drapes and glass surfaces, the neutral, bright tones of the environment provided the backdrop for the new Pianca day zone products: the Lina chair, designed by Federica Biasi, the Palù chair, developed by Raffaella Mangiarotti, the Siviglia series, created by CalviBrambilla and the Peonia collection by Cristina Celestino, with improved configuration options. The new products were also joined by others due to go into production shortly: the Mambo sideboard, designed by Pier Luigi Frighetto and the Perfecta series of modular bookshelves, designed by Luciano Marson.

All of the new products were received with curiosity and interest, including the original stain-resistant and stain-removal friendly fabric collection presented during Design Week, featuring a huge variety of colours and textures. The new Orizzonte concept was also well received, a kitchen born of the collaboration with Quarella, a leading Italian marble producer.
