A homage to nature and to the beauty of simplicity: the new Pianca 2022 products portray a welcoming, delicate and elegant style of living. Three Italian designers, sharing a distinctive sensitivity and a constant quest for new design forms, were called upon to interpret the identity of the Veneto brand.
Cristina Celestino designed the Peonia upholstered furniture collection: a sculptural, inviting sofa, sofa with chaise-longue and armchair that unfold like flowers. The Calatea chair and pouf go with the armchair of the same name from 2017, whose design evokes the evergreen tropical plant with a fresh new idea of proportions and functions.

Federica Biasi designed the Naan armchair: a compact, inviting volume with soft, delicate contours, which develops from a square base with rounded corners into one single block form.

The new products also include the Murano wardrobe and Teatro walk-in-closet, designed by Pianca Studio, which add to the catalogue of Pianca night zone systems. Subtle, simple solutions, exploring solid and empty spaces, and mixing transparency with textures.

On Saturday 11th June, Pianca received formal recognition from Salone del Mobile for its constant presence at the event, along with 11 other Italian companies who have been attending the event since 1961.
“Brands who, in the name of quality, research and innovation have accepted the invitation of Salone del Mobile, year upon year, and have grown along with it. Companies who have never stopped believing in the value and energy created through working together for the shared purpose of showing the world the visual beauty and quality that Made in Italy produces.”
