Tim Kerp was born in Cologne in 1980. After an apprenticeship as a graphic designer he studied product and interior design at University of Applied Sciences Aachen. Since 2009 he is running his own studio in his hometown. His creative major fields are furniture, brand architecture and retail. The design language he developed is based on his background as graphic designer and the passion for craftsmanship. Therefore, his work were shown at the Museum of Applied Art Cologne and on international furniture exhibitions. In parallel, he also teaches Marker Rendering and 3D Shaping at the Ecosign. A Academy for Ecological Design honored by the UNESCO for its exceptional education offer.
